Obedience Training Classes for all dogs

Presented by Alpine Animal Hospital

“Puppy Class”  

      A basic beginner class with socialization for puppies 12 to 20 weeks old. 

      This class includes basic skills of sit, lie down, come, wait and walk with me and includes socialization with a puppy playtime.  We will also learn about how to introduce our puppies to new “things” and situations.

      We meet once a week for six weeks.  Cost is $80 and enrollment is limited.

“Life Skills”

      A basic beginner class for all age dogs. 

      This class includes basic skills of sit, lie down, come, wait and walk with me.

      We will also learn about how dogs communicate and how we can use that to get what we need and share information about basic care and needs of dogs.

      We meet once a week for six weeks.  Cost is $80 and enrollment is limited.

“Fun and Games”

      The next step from beginner/puppy this class is for all ages of dogs. 

      We will incorporate games and tricks to further the training of the dogs and trainers with an expansion of the basic skills and adding more distractions.

      Meeting each week for 4 weeks at a cost of $50 and enrollment is limited.

Private Sessions with Melissa

      Appointments with Melissa can be made for help with animals with various challenges such as:

            Behaviors:  basic obedience; destructive behaviors; fear/anxiety

            Physical:   lameness (post veterinary care); missing limbs; out of balance

            Emotional:  stress in the environment; new family member; loss of family member

      In these consultations I will be using my knowledge about Tellington TTouch and dog behavior training.
